FABIOLA SKRZYPEK

Fabiola is fourth year Honours Business Administration and Juris Doctor (Law) dual degree student at Ivey Business School.

"Hi! My name is Fabiola. I began tutoring in Grade 11, when I started a tutoring club in my High School connecting students who needed academic support with upper-year International Baccalaureate (IB) students. Since then, I have gained more than 4 years of experience tutoring students in subjects including math, chemistry and English, at all grade levels. Education and tutoring are both very important to me. Having recognized the value of students teaching students, I acknowledge the positive impact tutoring can make to an individual's academic journey."

"Tutoring is the opportunity to receive aid in an environment that is tailored to fit the student's needs. Whether it be anything from the approach of the tutor or the selection of the content, tutoring is meant to maximize the efficiency of the student's time and allow them to absorb as much knowledge as possible while enjoying their time with their tutor. No matter the pace or the difficulty of the content, tutoring is meant to master skills that will carry through further education and school work."

YASSMIN IBRAHIM

Yassmin is currently a 4th year biochemistry student at Western University.

"To me, tutoring is about nurturing a love for learning and helping students believe in themselves. It's more than just teaching, it’s about guiding someone through their challenges, celebrating their successes, and being there for the small moments of understanding and progress. Tutoring is a chance to create a safe, encouraging space where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas, at their own pace."
